a. Moisturizer: Papaya can be used as the homemade moisturizer. It can be a boon for those with dry skin. Enzymes present in papaya remove all traces of dry and flaky skin and makes the skin soft and supple.
Ingredient- 1 tablespoon mashed papaya and 1 tablespoon honey
process- Mix papaya and honey. Apply on the face using hand or brush. Keep it for 20 min. Rinse with cold water.
b. Anti-wrinkle mask: Papaya peel can help in reducing signs of aging.
Ingredient- Papaya peel
Process- Rub papaya peel all over your face and neck. Keep it for 20 min. Wash with cold water.
c. Clears off Blemishes and Pigmentations: Papaya has the skin lightening properties that helps in clearing blemishes and reduce pigmentation. Also, beta-carotene, enzymes, and phytochemicals present in papaya help promote fairness. You can use this homemade anti-pigmentation mask which is made of a single ingredient.
Ingredient- 1 Tablespoon Papaya juice
Process- Apply papaya juice on the face with the help of a face brush. Keep it for 15 mins. Rinse with cold water.
d. Reduce dark circles under the eye: Green papaya is a natural bleaching agent. Using green papaya is the good ways to get rid of under eye dark circles.
Ingredient- Mashed green papaya
Process- Apply mashed green papaya on your dark circles with the fingertip. Massage there with fingertips in clockwise and Anti-clockwise direction for about 5 mins. Take a clean cloth wipe out material. Wash with lukewarm water.
e. Cures Eczema: Our ancestors used papaya for scar healing, skin burns and on itchy skin.
Ingredient- Papaya Pulp
Process- Apply mashed papaya pulp on the affected area. Keep it for 30 mins. Wash with cold water.
d. Anti-tan: Papaya contains Vitamin A and C in abundance. A combination with Papain enzymes it lightens the skin and reduces tanning.
Ingredient- 1/2 Tablespoon turmeric powder, 4 cube size raw papaya, 1 tablespoon honey.
Process- Mash raw papaya cubes mix with honey and turmeric. mix well to form a thick paste. Apply this paste on your clean face with the help of face brush. Keep it for 20-30 mins. Rinse face with lukewarm water. Use this mask once a week to get a glowing and healthy skin.
e. Controls acne breakouts: Papaya treats acne and also future acne breakouts. Again, the proteolytic enzyme papain makes the papaya en effective treatment for acne.
Ingredient- 4 cubes of ripened papaya, 1 tablespoon honey and 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Process- Mash papaya cubes and mix with honey and lemon juice. For better results, before applying paste you can steam-up the face. Apply this paste on the face using face brush. Keep for 15 mins. Rinse off with cold water.
